The Ione HMC (heavy mineral concentrate) project is located in Ione, CA approximately 35 miles Southeast of Sacramento, CA, and is a privately owned, fully permitted active mining operation. It consists of multiple gravity-concentrating stage plant that in turn produces a heavy mineral concentrate, while utilizing re-circulating water. HMC consists of highly-valuable titanium-dioxide (TiO₂) bearing minerals and zircon.
