HORSE ARENA MIXES THAT ARE HIGH QUALITY & AFFORDABLE

US Mine Corp’s sand is a high-purity, natural silica sand that undergoes a rigorous water-wash and particle separation process to produce a highly desirable footing for horse arenas. Some of the finest equestrian centers throughout the southwest use our equestrian sand in their indoor and outdoor arenas.  Its sub-angular shape allows some movement while still providing traction and minimizes compaction. It is screened to provide a narrow particle size distribution that reduces dust and allows for enhanced water drainage.

Currently, three different sand products are available: Arena sand, Arena Blend sand, and Fifty Plus sand.

Our premiere Arena Sand that is often spec’d for competition-level arenas that use textiles in the mix design. This product is h by professional promoters during televised, purse-paying events. The color is a medium gray and provides great contrast in indoor arenas. The highest level of processing from our plant ensures color and particle size consistency. Available year-round in bulk and available in super sacks by special order only.

Our Arena Blend Sand is a mix of our Arena Sand with other cuts of sand from our processing plant. Similar in particle size distribution to our Arena Sand, it exhibits good water drainage and minimal dust. This sand has more variability in color, ranging from a tan/buff to slighty brassy due to a small percentage of iron content. The color is ideal for outdoor arenas in full sun where high contrast is not desired. Available year round in bulk.

This is a new product for US Mine Corp as a result of new plant upgrades. Fifty Plus Sand is a coarser cut of sand that works best in arenas where textiles are not used. It does not have the finer distribution of sand found in the other two products and works well tilled into natural soils. Color is a medium gray with very slight black flecks of naturally occurring minerals. Available year round in bulk.
